What is happening?

As part of our ongoing efforts to move everyone to a national IT system, we will be transitioning our authentication process from OKTA to Microsoft Authenticator for Multi Factor Authentication (MFA).

This change is expected to take place at the end of November and will provide a more seamless and consistent sign-in experience for everyone nationally.

What you need to do

From late November, when launching a work application, you’ll use Microsoft Authenticator instead of Okta Verify to approve sign-ins. Microsoft Authenticator will prompt you to verify your identity by entering a number into the app.

During November, we will ask you to download the Microsoft Authenticator App on your device, and sign in with your work account. OKTA will continue to work as normal, even after you enroll into MS Authenticator.
